Laureate Academy Success at Dragon’s Apprentice Awards Ceremony

This year our Year 12s participated in ‘Dragon’s Apprentice’, a local competition between schools where students are tasked with the challenge of turning £100 into £1000 for charity. Through many fundraisers and lots of hard work, our students managed to raise a fantastic £1,464 for charity Waterways Experiences.

To mark the end of the competition, on Monday, all 18 participating schools attended an awards ceremony at the University of Hertfordshire. Around 8 awards were given out during the evening and we are extremely proud to share our students walked away with two of them! The team won the Best Marketing Campaign Award and the Resilience Award!

We are incredibly proud of our students’ commitment, creativity and teamwork throughout the competition, and these awards are a testament to their dedication.
