We are delighted to celebrate another year of exceptional A Level success at Laureate Academy, with students achieving our strongest results to date.

Results have improved year on year for the past three years, and in 2026 our average grade rose from a C to a B. We secured more A*-B grades than ever before, with one third of students achieving A*-B grades across all three of their subjects. The number of students achieving AAB or better has also doubled since last year.

Alongside these excellent grades, student progress has risen significantly, with our overall progress score increasing from 0.03 in 2025 to 0.32 in 2026. These achievements reflect the dedication, resilience and ambition of our students, supported by the expertise and commitment of our staff.

We are equally proud of the exciting destinations secured by the Class of 2026. Half of our students will progress to Russell Group universities, while two students, Luca and Kai, have earned places at Oxford and Cambridge respectively. Students will go on to study a wide range of subjects, including Engineering, Zoology, Medical Neuroscience, Computer Science and Sports Journalism.

Several subjects achieved exceptional results, with particularly strong outcomes in History, Physics, Sociology, Geography and Psychology. English Literature, Mathematics, Politics, Psychology and Sociology all improved their average grade from a C to a B, while History saw an outstanding increase from a C to an A+ average.

These results are a testament to the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff and the unwavering support of our families. Together, we continue to demonstrate the impact of our values of Knowledge, Aspiration and Respect.
