We have the very highest aspirations for every single student in our academy, in all aspects of their education and their wider development. We are absolutely determined to provide an exceptional standard of education here at Laureate. This comes from our having a commitment to knowledge as a foundational value of the academy. This is delivered through an inspirational and challenging curriculum, through the expertise of our teachers and through the support of our pastoral teams and other staff. We support students to develop into confident, articulate and happy adults by the time they leave us.
We also place great emphasis on the wider development of students at our academy, which is reflected in the academy value of respect. As well as our excellent pastoral care, we have an Education Enrichment programme that adds depth and breadth to the academy experience for all students. We want students to experience the best that has been thought and said, in all aspects of academic life and wider culture. To that end, we provide high quality events and opportunities beyond the classroom throughout a student’s time with us.
We are determined that every child has the very highest aspirations for themselves, so that they have a range of options after school, whether that be a top university, or a high quality alternative such as a technical qualification. Success in education brings with it the possibility of a wider range of options later in life, so that every student who studies at Laureate has a greater range of pathways from which to make their choice.
We are proud of our academy. We are proud of the calm respectful environment, of the high academic standards in lessons, of the aspirational attitudes shown by students and staff, and of the opportunity that is in place for all students to be both happy and successful.
