Careers Education at Laureate Academy

Our Careers programme at Laureate Academy starts when students begin their journey in Year 7 and continues through to after they leave at the end of Year 13. You can read more detail by reading through the Careers Plan and other various documents which can be downloaded from the bottom of the page. You can also contact our Careers and Enrichment Leader, Faye Evans on f.evans@laureate.futureacademies.org or on 01442 404333. Our careers policy is available via the policies section of the website.

Our careers plan for 2022-2023. We update this plan annually and aim to publish in October of each academic year.

Our latest "Compass Plus" report (January 2023). This provides an update on how we are doing in relation to the key 'Gatsby' benchmarks. We update this three times a year and regularly review our provision accordingly.

Our Provider Access Policy. This is our official publication under section 42B of the Education Act 1997.

Information about the provider encounters we offer our students and how we comply with the associated provider access legislation

A note on Unifrog: At Laureate Academy we use Unifrog to help students think about their destinations. We expect students to log on weekly to complete tasks, search for post-16 or post-18 options and broaden their knowledge about careers and the pathways that can get them there. We also use Unifrog in our careers tutor times, which allow students to dive deeper into the platform. Students are given in a log in in year 7 and can continue to use the platform until they either leave us at 16 or 18.
